Ted has been passionately involved in all things cocktailian for as long as he can remember. Since moving to St. Louis in 2006, Ted K. has helped shape St. Louis’s drinking palate by heading up the drink programs at Monarch and Taste by Niche. Being an owner at Planter’s House is a dream come true, and now it is his playground for cocktail creation. Currently he is the only Beverage Alcohol Resources, B.A.R. READY certification holder in St. Louis and will chat you up all night about everything spiritus. In the last 12 years his cocktails have been featured in, San Francisco Chronical, Esquire, Bon Appetit, Food and Wine, Wall Street Journal, Mr. Boston's Guide, Difford's Guide, Experimental Cocktail Club Cocktail Book, Gaz Reagan' s Gin Compendium, Imbibe and many more. He is our Proprietor, Beverage Director, and Cocktail Geek.
